On Sunday February 02, on the occasion of the feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, we held a special prayer service at our St Rita sanctuary, marking the “Day of Consecrated Life”. The aim was to thank the Lord for the gift of consecrated people and the multiple charisms found in ancient orders and religious communities. We prayed for vocations, so that Christ may always inspire vocations dedicated solely to the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven, becoming beacons in the night and signs for all the baptized. <\/p>\n

Fifty faithful devoutly gathered, adoring before the Blessed Sacrament, singing and meditating on various texts from Scripture or the Magisterium to marvel at the beauty and grandeur of the charism of the consecrated life, these men and women who consecrate themselves to be ONE with the poor, chaste and obedient Christ.<\/p>\n
