Following our recent pilgrimage to Cascia, Assisi and Rome in November 2025, we brought the participants together for a time of reflection and a convivial meal. This simple, fraternal and dynamic gathering, under the skilful guidance of organizers Emile and Gilles, enabled everyone to express their experiences, to re-read together the graces received, but also to identify with lucidity the strong points and areas for improvement.
In an atmosphere of mutual listening, the pilgrims shared their joys, the moments that touched them, as well as some of the difficulties they encountered [albeit minimal…]. This community review helps us to assess the feasibility of future pilgrimages, to reinforce what has worked well and to adjust what could be improved.
Over and above the organizational aspects, this event enabled us to measure the extent to which these times of walking and prayer nourish fraternity, open up spiritual paths and reconnect with the simplicity of the Gospel.
It’s an invaluable step in our joint efforts to discern how we can continue to accompany pilgrims in their quest for God.
