Association of Guides and Scouts of Europe – Return of the Notre-Dame Royale Province to the Shrine

On Saturday, August 29, the commissioners of the Association of Guides and Scouts of Europe in the Province of Notre-Dame Royale gathered in the chapel to pray together before meeting in council to kick off the 2026–2027 year.

In attendance were the two provincial commissioners, the eight district commissioners (the province is made up of four districts: Hauts-de-Seine North, Hauts-de-Seine Central, Hauts-de-Seine South, Essonne), as well as the educational assistants from the yellow branch (Cub Scouts), green branch (Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts), and red branch (senior branch).

The Association of Guides and Scouts of Europe (AGSE) https://www.scouts-europe.org/ is a movement dedicated to co-education with families, with the goal of helping young people grow through the guidance of other young people, under the guidance of Christ.

This organization has a strong presence in our diocese, with more than a thousand Cub Scouts, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Scouts, Pilot Team members, and Rovers.

The older generation may be called upon to provide assistance.

As the school year begins, the organization is looking for leaders—both male and female—who are ready to receive training and commit to helping young people grow. https://www.scouts-europe.org/nous-rejoindre/
