On Sunday, September 27, we celebrated Father Yves’s priestly jubilee and Brother Rafael’s perpetual vows.

Below are a few words from Father François, the community’s rector.
Father Yves’s Priesthood Jubilee
Although it’s a little late, we’d like to take this simple opportunity to mark the anniversary of your ordination to the priesthood and express our deep gratitude and joy to you.
Four decades in the service of Christ and His Church—all these years spent proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and accompanying, listening to, and serving so many people on their journey.
We give thanks to the Lord for your ongoing service, for the ministry you carry out each day, and for all that has been sown over the years—often behind the scenes.
May the Lord continue to grant you the joy of serving Him, peace of heart, and the strength to bear witness to His love. Thank you, Father Yves, for these forty years of continually saying “yes” to the Lord.
Happy ordination anniversary!

Brother Rafael’s Perpetual Vows
We wholeheartedly congratulate you, Brother Rafael, on your perpetual vows. Last September 12 marked a profoundly beautiful and meaningful milestone on your journey of faith: through this commitment, you have chosen to dedicate your entire life to God and to give yourself fully to Him and to others.
Perpetual vows are much more than a promise: they are an act of trust, fidelity, and self-giving. They express the desire to place one’s life in the Lord’s hands, to love Him and serve Him with a heart that is ever more free and open. That is the meaning of prostration!
May God accompany you every step of the way, strengthen your commitment, and make your life a witness to faith, hope, and love. May the “yes” you have given bear much fruit and be a source of peace and joy throughout your journey.
Congratulations, Rafael, on this wonderful offering of yourself to the Lord. May this new chapter be filled with His presence and His light.
