Sunday, June 7, 2026: Diocesan Group for Consecrated Life holds a day of fellowship and spiritual reflection at the shrine

Here is the testimony of Marie-Thérèse JOYE, diocesan delegate for consecrated life:

What a wonderful day of fellowship and spiritual growth! It was a great success! Thanks to the venue and the presence and participation of the four brothers from the community!

The sun played a part, too!

Twenty-five consecrated women came; almost all of them attended the 11 a.m. Mass.

Father François welcomed us and informed the parishioners of our presence.

Of course, it was a beautiful Mass that ended in the garden after the procession of the Blessed Sacrament. (What a beautiful monstrance!)

Both groups were welcomed at the store.

Then everyone gathered in one of the rooms for introductions and grace. The weather was nice but a little chilly. They stayed for lunch there, except for the young people, who shared their meal and laughter under the canopy of trees and flowers.

At 2:00 p.m., we were in the chapel, and the brothers took turns presenting their work in Fontenay, the life of Saint Rita, the history of this chapel, and so on… a delight of history, of events incomprehensible to humans but such clear signs of God!

A time to pause. A time for worship.

Then we moved on to the Shroud of Turin exhibition hall.

They all expressed how much they enjoyed the day (which didn’t end too late!). They’re going to tell the ones who didn’t come all about it!

We really appreciated the community members who made time for our group on a Sunday at 2 p.m.!
