Candles burn ceaselessly, symbolizing our prayers and thanksgiving for our lives to become light.

Saint Rita, patron saint of lost causes, welcomes your intentions and thanks, and may fraternal charity strengthen our prayer.
The Sanctuary
Sainte Rita Chapel was consecrated on November 22, 1992 by Mgr François FAVREAU, 2nd Bishop of Nanterre, and will be elevated to the rank of “Sanctuary” on June 01, 2020 by Mgr Matthieu ROUGE, 5th Bishop of Nanterre.
The Oblates of the Virgin Mary – O.M.V. – have been in charge of pastoral care since its foundation, and are also responsible for the Résidence Universitaire Lantéri (R.U.L.), where 120 university students live.
In the spirit of their founder, Pio Bruno Lanteri, of Piedmontese-Italian origin, the Oblates welcome the faithful or students who come here to deepen their Christian faith in the spirit of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, or to implore God’s help through the powerful intercession of the “patroness of desperate causes”, Rita de CASCIA, or to give thanks for a favor obtained.
